APY Form Axis Bank – Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for Atal Pension Yojana is that the holder should be a citizen of India between the age of 18-40 years and should have a savings bank account. Check your eligibility for APY below to avail the many benefits provided.

• Subscriber age should be between 18 to 40 years
• He should have a Savings Bank Account / Open a Savings Bank Account
• The potential applicant should have a mobile number and his/her details should be submitted to the bank during registration

How to fill the Application Form Of APY Axis Bank

The Atal Pension Yojana application form consists of the following major fields that need to be filled correctly before the submission of the application form:

• Section 1 – Bank details like bank account number, bank name, and bank branch information.
• Section 2 – Personal details like applicant’s name, date of birth, email id, marital status, spouse’s name, nominee’s name, nominee’s relationship with the customer, subscriber’s age, and mobile number. Aadhar Card Details of Spouse and Nominee.
• Section 3 – Pension details to be provided like pension amount selected – Rs. 1000/Rs. 2000/Rs. 3000/Rs. 4000/Rs. 5000
• The monthly contribution amount will be calculated and filled by the bank.
• If the nominee is a minor then additional details are required – date of birth, name of the guardian, and important information like ‘Is the minor a beneficiary of other statutory social security schemes?’ and ‘Is a minor an income tax payer?’

In case the APY applicant does not have an account with the bank through which they are applying, they will have to open a bank account in a scheduled bank with having a core banking platform. Once the bank account is activated, the remaining steps are the same as for existing bank account holders.

Once completely filled, the application form should be signed by the customer and submitted to the bank. The APY form also has an acknowledgment section that reads – “Acknowledgment – Subscriber Registration for Atal Pension Yojana (APY)”. Once the application is processed it will be filled and signed/printed by the bank official.
