Elizabeth Line Tube Map

Dear readers, here we are offering Elizabeth Line Tube Map PDF to all of you. Elizabeth Line is open and you can now get the full Elizabeth Line Tube Map to get your way clear. TfL has shared on its Twitter the new London Underground Tube map. The map now features the £19 billion line, but the combination of its pale purple color and two parallel lines (to signify that it’s partly above ground), makes it nearly impossible to read.

The Elizabeth line opens, but the full-service line is split up and will operate as “three separate railways”. This means that passengers from Reading and Heathrow Airport wanting to access central London will need to change at Paddington station. Similarly, those wanting central London from Shenfield will have to change at Liverpool Street station.

How long will Elizabeth Line journeys take?

  • The Elizabeth line will operate 12 trains per hour between Paddington and Abbey Wood from Monday to Saturday 6.30 am to 11 pm. Initially, trains will not run on Sundays to allow for testing and software updates.
  • It will cut journey times from Abbey Wood, southeast London, to Paddington by almost half to 29 minutes.
  • Journeys between Liverpool Street and Woolwich will also be halved to 15 minutes.
  • Trips between Farringdon and Canary Wharf will take 10 minutes instead of 24.

Other example journey times:

  • Bond Street to Liverpool Street: Seven minutes
  • Woolwich to Farringdon: 14 minutes
  • Paddington to Canary Wharf: 17 minutes

East section journey times (Autumn 2022):

  • Stratford to Bond Street: 15 minutes
  • Romford to Liverpool Street: 27 minutes

West section journey times (Autumn 2022):

  • Tottenham Court Road to Ealing Broadway: 13 minutes
  • Paddington to Slough: 26 minutes

A full timetable won’t be ready until 2023 and the opening still depends on final safety approvals.

But once the service is fully up and running, it is expected to increase the capacity of London’s public transport by 10% – serving around 200 million people each year. To differentiate the new railway line from London Underground lines, it appears as double purple “train tracks” rather than a solid line.

The free TfL Go app will be updated to show the route and existing TfL Rail lines from Paddington to Heathrow and Reading, and from Liverpool Street to Shenfield, which will be rebranded in Elizabeth line purple. The app also shows accessibility information for users and stations from Paddington to Woolwich and at Heathrow already provide level access from platforms to trains. Bond Street Elizabeth line station will open later this year with two entrances, one at Davies Street and one at Hanover Square.
