It will definitely help you to come over from various postural problems. Typically 3 cycles are performed just prior to going to sleep. Best to do them at night rather than in the morning or midday. If they become dizzy following the exercises, then it can resolve while one is sleeping.

The mirror image of this procedure is used for the right ear. Repeated every night for a week. The head is turned to the side of vertigo/nystagmus during the Dix/Hallpike Test.

Epley Maneuver PDF – What happens during the home Epley maneuver?

Your healthcare provider will tell you how often to do this procedure. He or she may ask you to do it 3 times a day until your symptoms have been gone for 24 hours. Your healthcare provider will also tell if your right or left ear is causing your symptoms.

Follow these steps if the problem is with your right ear:
Step – 1	Start by sitting on a bed.
Step – 2	Turn your head 45 degrees to the right.
Step – 3	Quickly lie back, keeping your head turned. Your shoulders should now be on the pillow, and your head should be reclined. Wait 30 seconds.
Step – 4	Turn your head 90 degrees to the left, without raising it. Your head will now be looking 45 degrees to the left. Wait another 30 seconds.
Step – 5	Turn your head and body another 90 degrees to the left, into the bed. Wait another 30 seconds.
Step – 6	Sit up on the left side.

Follow these steps if the problem is with your left ear:

• Start by sitting on a bed.
• Turn your head 45 degrees to the left.
• Quickly lie back, keeping your head turned. Your shoulders should now be on the pillow, and your head should be reclined. Wait 30 seconds.
• Turn your head 90 degrees to the right, without raising it. Your head will now be looking 45 degrees to the right. Wait another 30 seconds.
• Turn your head and body another 90 degrees to the right, into the bed. Wait another 30 seconds.
• Sit up on the right side.
