GSTR-1 is to be submitted electronically by every recorded person other than suppliers of Online Information and Database Access or Retrieval (OIDAR) services or an input service distributor or a non-resident taxable person or person paying tax under copy levy or persons to be filed duly. A person is liable to collect TCS or liable to deduct TDS. The informal taxable person also has to file GSTR-1.

GSTR 1 Form PDF – Details Overview

The details of outward supply of goods or services or both furnished in Form GSTR-1 shall include –

All Challan wise details –

• Inter-State and Inter-State supplies made to registered persons; And
• Inter-State supplies with an invoice value of more than Rs 2.5 lakh made to unregistered persons;

Consolidated statement of all

• Inter-State supplies made to unregistered persons for each rate of tax; And
• State-wise inter-State supplies with invoice value up to Rs.2.5 lakh for each rate of tax made to unregistered persons;
• Debit and credit notes, if any, issued during the month for invoices issued earlier.

GSTR 1 Form Timings

GSTR-1 return is to be filed for every tax period, whether or not any supply of goods or services or both is made during such tax period. This return can be filed by the taxpayer directly through the common portal www.gst.gov.in; or through a facilitation center notified by the Commissioner.
