Eligibility Criteria To Become A Prime Minister Of India

According to the Constitution(Article 84), a Prime Minister must have following eligibilities –

1. He/She must be a citizen of country India.

2. He/She must be a member of the Lok Sabha or the Rajya Sabha. If he is not a member at the time of selection then he/she must become a member of anyone house within six months.

3. He/She must be above 30 years of age if he or she is a member of the Rajya Sabha and above 25 years of age if he or she is a member of Lok Sabha and

4. He/She must not have any office of profit under the Government of India or the Government of any State or under any local or other authority subject to Government control.
