One Stop Center (OSC) aims to help women affected by violence in the family, community, and workplace, in private and public places. One stop Center Scheme Women facing physical, sexual, emotional, psychological, and economic abuse irrespective of age, class, caste, educational status, marital status, caste, and culture will be facilitated with assistance and redressal. For victims of any form of violence due to sexual assault, sexual assault, domestic violence, trafficking, honor crimes, acid attacks, or witch-hunting who have reached out to or are referred to OSC, special services will be provided.

The Nirbhaya Fund was an Indian fund of Rs 10 billion announced by the Government of India in its 2013 Union Budget. Finance Minister P. Chidambaram expected the funds to support initiatives to ensure the dignity and safety of women in India. Nirbhaya (Fearless) was a pseudonym given to the 2012 Delhi gang-rape victim. One Stop Center Scheme – About the scheme

• Popularly known as Sakhi, this centrally sponsored scheme has been prepared by the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD).
• It is a sub-scheme of the Umbrella Scheme for the National Mission for Empowerment of Women including Indira Gandhi Matri Sahyog Yojana.
• Under this scheme, one stop centers are being set up across the country in a phased manner to provide integrated support and assistance to women affected by violence both in private and public places at one place.
• Target Groups: OSC will support all women, including girls under the age of 18, affected by violence, race, class, religion, region, sexual orientation, or marital status.
