• Once your changes are confirmed, a 15-digit acknowledgment number will be displayed. Keep this number handy as you will need it for further communication or to track the status of your application.
• Make the payment, take a printout of the acknowledgment, attach the required documents and send it to:

How to Apply for A PAN Card Name Change

• Visit the official website of UTI.
• Click on ‘Click here for change/correction in PAN card’ on the left side of the screen.
• Now, click on ‘Apply for Change/Correction in PAN Card Details (CSF)’.
• This will take you to a page where you will be allowed to enter the details which you want to change.
• Upload the documents as requested in the form and click on ‘Submit’.
• Then your changes will be visible in a few days.

Apply for PAN Card Correction Offline

You can also get details on changing your PAN card offline. All you have to do is download and print the PAN Correction Form.

How To Change Address In Pan Card Application Form

Although your address will not be listed on your PAN card, you will need to send the hard copy of your PAN card to your postal address. The address has to be mentioned in the PAN card application form for this purpose. This address can be updated, if required, by filling the 49A application form offline.

However, in application forms that were filled offline and which were authenticated using Aadhaar OTP, the address cannot be changed again. This is because the address listed in the Aadhaar database is taken as the default address.

Even if you have submitted the application form online for a change of address, you need to:

• Update the new address on your Aadhar card
• Fill and Resubmit PAN Card Application Form 49A once again
