Monitoring and Management Information System (MIS)

A centralized web-based Management Information System (MIS) has been set up for monitoring and implementation of the scheme. MIS will act as a unified platform for the registration and empanelment of implementing agencies. All aspects of program management and implementation like submission of proposals, the release of funds, enrollment of candidates, assignment of training, physical verification, evaluation, placement, post-placement tracking, etc. will be managed through MIS. The release of funds will be linked to the physical progress updated on the MIS.

A mobile application for grievance redressal with various stakeholders TC Coordinator, Inspection Agency, Beneficiaries and Geo-tags, timestamps, and evaluation is linked to the MIS module.

Samarth (Scheme for Capacity Building in the Textile Sector) is a flagship skill development scheme approved in continuation of the Integrated Skill Development Scheme for the 12th Five Year Plan, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs.
