Important points about supreme court holidays and vacations in the year 2022:

• Sundays and Supreme Court holidays are shown in red.
• Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakrid), the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, Miladun-Nabi or Eid-e-Milad and Christmas Day which falls on Sunday, 10 July; Sunday, October 2; Sunday, October 9 and Sunday, December 25, 2022, respectively, are not shown separately, as they fall during the summer holidays and on a Sunday.
• Holi, Dussehra and Diwali actually fall on Friday 18th March, Wednesday 5th October, Monday 24th October, 2022.
• The court’s summer vacation will begin on Monday, May 23, 2022, and the court will resume its session on Monday, July 11, 2022. Summer vacation is orange. However, the Secretaries of the Court will work during holidays except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. However, the registry of the court will remain open on the last Saturday of summer vacation i.e. July 9, 2022.
• Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakrid), Muharram and Milad-un-Nabi or Eid-e-Milad which falls on Tuesday 3 May; Sunday, July 10; Tuesday, August 9 and Sunday, October 9, 2022, respectively, are subject to change based on the visibility of the Moon.
• During the Christmas holidays, the registry will be closed from Monday, December 26, 2022 to Saturday, December 31, 2022 (both days inclusive).
